Australian Institute Of Management
The new Katitjin Center, built at the Australian Institute Of Management WA site, will be a premier training facility. The building was awarded a 6 Star Green Star Education Design v1 certification in line with the client's requirements for "World Leadership in Sustainable Design". Achieving 88 credit points and 1 innovation point, this project is among the highest rated green buildings in Australia.
The combination of passive design, efficient equipment selection, sophisticated controls systems and extensive photovoltaic array resulted in a remarkable feat - a building which has been modelled to produce a net negative carbon emission in operation.

Working with the client, Vizcom Technologies, designed and installed, a networked audio visual system incorporating Panasonic electronic whiteboards. 5 standalone training rooms, 2 combinable training rooms, a reception lobby, balcony and staff lounge all controlled from AMX touch screen panels and processors.
In addition to the audio visual systems, 2 AMX Inspired XPress Signage systems have been installed to showcase the clients commitment towards sustainability. These signage systems highlight the key initiatives that went into the buildings design as well as showing live and historical energy usage.
