	Vinten Supports OB Specialists at Euro 2008

	Already on site with many leading broadcasters ready for the Olympics in Beijing, Vinten equipment is going to be in action at the Euro 2008 football tournament as well! “This is the biggest football event of the year, so broadcasters want to be sure the equipment they have is robust enough for the job and utterly reliable,” said Stan Gosling, Senior Service Manager Europe, Middle East & Asia. “Our customers know they get the best from Vinten with proven technology and familiar, easy to operate systems, all backed with comprehensive customer support and service on the ground, whenever they need it.” One of the independent Outside Broadcasters who will be relying on Vinten camera support equipment throughout Euro 2008 is the UK based company, 021 TV. They provide customers with a comprehensive range of OB trucks and equipment including both HD and SD kit. For Euro 2008, they will be covering matches at two venues – Innsbruck and Klagenfurt – supported by Vinten Vector heads and Vision 250 systems. Mark Turner, Head of Cameras at 021 TV has used Vinten heads and tripods for many years, and in 2007 used the new Vector 950 head for ITV’s popular show, Dancing on Ice. “The Vector heads are ideal for fasting moving OB coverage,” he said. “They have a very smooth, fluid operation and are a pleasure to use! I’m confident that working with Vinten equipment for Euro 2008 will prove another success.” The Vector range of pan and tilt heads are ideal for capturing fast moving action on the football pitch, providing the operator with complete and effortless control whatever the broadcast conditions.
