	Sonnet Slashes Price on Volta™ Rechargeable Battery Pack for iPod®

	Sonnet Technologies, a leader in upgrades and useful accessories for Apple® computers and iPod mobile digital devices, has cut the retail price of its high-capacity Volta rechargeable battery pack for iPod from $39.95 to $29.95. Volta is a slim and sleek battery booster that plugs directly into any compatible iPod and extends playback times by up to 300%. Used with a fully charged iPod classic, Volta extends video playback up to 16 hours, or audio playback up to 80 hours. Volta docks to many iPod models and iPhone™ for charging, and includes an assembly clip to secure an iPod classic or iPod with video for power on the go. Volta’s glossy black, rugged aluminum casing houses a high-capacity Li-polymer battery capable of powering an iPod for greatly extended play time, or charging it three times when a computer or wall charger isn’t available. Four LEDs on the front indicate charging status and remaining charge, and the built-in dock connector enables Volta to be charged with any USB 2.0-to-dock connector cable (included).
