	Extron Introduces Two New MediaLink® Controllers

	The MLC 52 RS MK and MLC 52 RS VC MK MediaLink Controllers act as an extended remote control panel, providing user-friendly control for a display's power and input selection. The MLC 52 RS VC MK also features an integrated volume control knob for use with Extron's popular MPA 122 Mini Power Amplifier. These new control panels are easy to configure, making set up fast and simple by using one of the hundreds of serial and IR device drivers found on the Extron Web site. "These compact control panels are ideal for budget-conscious classroom presentation systems and the new MK form factor gives installers additional flexibility," says Rainer Stiehl, Vice President of Marketing, EMEA for Extron. "These new additions to our MLC 52 Series further expand our wide range of architectural mounting options for the UK and other markets that use MK-type junction boxes." Seven optional output boards are available for the ISM 824. These cards include three universal RGB / video scalers, a video-only scaler, a scan converter, and single and dual output wideband boards. A variety of combinations supports a wide range of signal distribution and signal processing requirements. The boards are installed in a simple, plug-in backplane, providing for system upgrades at virtually any time before, during, or after system installation. The MLC 52 RS MK and MLC 52 RS VC MK offer a central point of control for a display device's key functions, eliminating the need for a handheld IR remote control and making system operation much more efficient. With the MLC 52 RS MK and MLC 52 RS VC MK, there are no misplaced remotes to search for, no confusing menus to navigate, and no dead batteries to replace. No matter what brand of display is installed in each presentation venue, MediaLink Controllers always provide a consistent control method from room to room. Presenters with little or no training can walk into any MediaLink equipped classroom and operate the A/V system with minimal effort. Both models are available in white and mount in a standard MK junction box.
